The Mountain Workshops is excited to announce the opportunity to win an all-tuition paid scholarship to attend the 2012 Mountain Workshops. Jonathan Woods photo editor of TIME.com, will be offering one scholarship for an individual not affiliated with WKU. You can be a working professional, a recent graduate of any other school other than WKU or a student at any other school. Applicants are to apply for the workshop track where they feel they will experience the most growth. Entrants must include a short personal essay of no more than 400 words, a resumé and a sample of their work or a link to their portfolio.
Applications are due by midnight CDT, Friday, Sept. 7, the recipient will be announced on this blog by Thursday, Sept. 13. Participants that have been accepted can gaurantee their spot in the desired workshop once payment is submitted. Because the Workshops fill very quickly, we encourage applicants to pay as soon as possible. The successful candidate for this scholarship will be reimbursed their full tuition if they have already paid.</p><p>To apply, please send the required materials to:
